Cllr Matthew Davies | |
![]() | Being one of the youngest Councillors on Cheshire East and new to Local Government, Matthew is proud to represent one of the largest divisions within the Council. Currently he serves on two committees on Cheshire East with the first being Corporate Scrutiny which looks at the Councils policies on resources in areas such as ICT, Finance to the overall performance of the Authority. Second committee is Southern Planning which looks at all applications that need the Councils permission within Crewe and Congleton. |
| Bollington and Disley is one of the most diverse Divisions in Cheshire
East offering the hills of Rainow, the busy hum of Disley to the cobble
streets of Bollington. Since May 2008 he has been proud and delighted to represent the people within Bollington and Disley facing the many causes that have occurred in this time. Along with his fellow Councillors, he has worked with Bollington Town Council and the surrounding Parish Councils as well as successfully fighting against School Closures. They will carry on supporting causes that are within the interest of Bollington and Disley Residents, and he will be offering a further communication link via a regular surgery. Matthew adds "I look forward to the challenges that are ahead for the Conservative Party as we face a titanic year while we look to over throw the decaying Labour Government.'' | |
